7 Foods You Should Never Let Your Kids Eat
2. Packaged lunches
Packaged lunches might seem like a convenient option for a busy mom, but it’s really worth the effort to actually make something fresh than one of these. For starters, most packaged lunches contain many of the offenders we’ve already discussed like deli meat, cheese, fruit juice, crackers, etc. Most of the time, they contain foods made with white flour, sugar, additives, sodium, chemicals, and unnatural ingredients.
1. Kids’ Meals
A kids’ meal might seem like the best option for a fussy toddler or a busy parent, but most of them contain more calories than even adult is recommended to eat. On top of that, none of the foods in a kids’ meal are mostly what they say they are.
Let’s analyze the contents of a regular kids’ meal: a burger or some type of sandwich involving white bread and artificial “cheese”, refined flour and processed potatoes masquerading as “French Fries” and a drink that is basically just colored sugar and chemical water.
Does any of that sound like something you’d be happy to feed your kid?
