8 Most Dangerous Tourist Attractions In The World
7. Running of the Bulls, Spain
This is a tourist attraction that only takes places over a few days every year, but has to be one of the most thrilling and terrifying ones ever! The running of the bulls is a festival that began in the 14th century as a way to honor Saint Fermin. Over the course of a week, 6 bulls are released into the streets of Pamplona to run amongst more than 20,000 people who dare put themselves anywhere near raging bulls. This festival sees more than 100s injured every year, but there have only been 15 deaths since 1910.
8. Troltunga, Norway
Known as “Troll’s Tongue”, Troltunga is an extremely popular tourist destination in Norway. It gets it’s name from the slab of rock that extends from the top of a cliff that looks like a protruding tongue. The climb here takes up to 10 hours and ascends around 900 meters, but the amazing view of lake Ringedalsvatnet is worth it. Well, that and the thrill of it all. But this single sheet of rock is the only thing keeping you from plunging down the depths of some 700 meters, no railings or safeguards! So, do you dare?
