Rainbow Fruit Kabobs

These would be perfect for a kid’s party, and they will give you a much-needed break from all the sugary treats. All you need are a few small wooden skewers -or you could even use toothpicks- and fruit of different colors cut into bit sized pieces.

Rainbow Pancakes

These are super, duper easy to make! All you have to do is add a bit of food color to your favorite pancake batter and cook up a couple pancakes in each color. And then all that’s left to do is stack them up! Drizzle a bit of maple syrup or honey, and you’re done! A swirl of whipped cream on top is optional, but will give you a nice contrast of brilliant white against the vibrant colours.

Rainbow Grilled Veggie Skewers

Cute, convenient, and healthy! These would be great for a party, or if you’re trying to get your fussy kids to eat their vegetables. Just cut up some fruit of various colors, skewer them, and then grill them for a few minutes on each side. You could also use a simple marinade for some added flavor.

Rainbow Smoothie

Another healthy party snack idea that is so, so tasty while being super healthy. To make these rainbow smoothie glasses, all you have to do is pick a variety of your favorite fruits in different colors, cut and freeze them before blending them each up. All that’s left to do is start filling your glasses layer by layer.

Rainbow Pizzas

Who doesn’t love pizza? How could you ever make pizza better, isn’t it already culinary perfection? On your next pizza night, try this variation! Your kids will love picking and laying out the vegetables of different shades, and so will you. Be imaginative and create fun patterns with your dough and toppings while you’re at it!
